On September 16th, San Francisco will hold a special election in District 4 (check your eligibility here) to determine whether or not to recall Supervisor Joel Engardio. It's important we stand with Joel!

SF YIMBY proudly endorsed Joel Engardio for District 4 Supervisor, and since then, he has gotten to work fighting for housing on the Westside. However, some constituents, mad at him for supporting Sunset Dunes on the ballot in 2024, are now attempting to recall him over the creation of the park and the closure of Great Highway.
It's important that we reject this cynical attempt to recall a Supervisor for taking a bold stance on an issue. Joel Engardio is leading on this issue and so much more. He has consistently been a desperately needed pro-housing voice on our Board of Supervisors. That's why it's our job to have his back, Vote No on A, and tell our of our friends and neighbors in the Sunset to also Vote No on A
